24/7 Prayer Room

For those of you who may not yet have visited the prayer room (at The Well, 45 High Street, Kibworth), there are still slots available. They tend to book up about three days in advance, so if you have a particular time in mind, it is worth popping in early. If you are a pretty flexible, there is normally one slot just waiting to be filled!

There are some great prayers and testiomonies on the walls and in the prayer books. And the feeling of just spending some time with God is phenominal.

Here are some more photos from both the Prayer Room and from the waiting area.

And these are from the lobby area where anybody and everybody is welcome to come and add an image.

Prayer Room Update

During Lent, the Prayer Room is open 24 hours a day.

Feedback so far has been terrific, and some slots are in great demand. As always, the success of these initiatives is not just in praying none stop for 40 days and nights, but is the way that God moves both within those involved in praying, and in the community.

At the moment, the prayer room is one of only three in the UK, and the only one going for the whole of Lent.

You can pop in during the day, and have a look round, leave a prayer request and see how work is progressing on The Well. And you can look at available slots.

Taking an hour out of a busy schedule to spend time with God is a tremendous opportunity. Focusing thoughts on the one who loves us unconditionally.

In the Prayer Room there are ideas for prayer, books to reflect on and poems. And outside in the waiting area there is Painting Wall. Anybody can add to it, and we post some photographs as it progresses here and on our FACEBOOK site.

Pop into the Prayer Room. It is at The Well, 45 High Street, Kibworth.
